1. The philosophy of Independent Living and how it integrates with the activates of the center

2. Legal responsibilities of the board

3. Ethical responsibilities of the board

4. Specific board responsibilities

5. The role of the board and the role of the center staff

6. Types of services that the center provides, who they serve who pays for them, and how the board can evaluate the quality of these services
