Members
of the centers Board of Director and Staff can be sued for things that happen
at the center, unfair labor practices, employee dishonesty and others.
The
board is responsible for making sure the center obtains proper coverage to
protect its center and those on the board.
It
is important that the board review at least the types of insurance listed below
and choose appropriately for the best protection. Strongly recommend that the
Board Of Directors consult with legal/insurance expert
concerning appropriate insurance coverage.
